SYNOPSIS

A Neo-Noir Semi-Autobiographical film, based on the true story events that happened to Jazz Virk the screenwriter, director and editor of Haunted Addict and Swarit Jajal also an actor in this film.

The story follows Wendy, who is recovering from past traumas, abuse, mental health issues, is on her path to recovery with therapy, self-care, sobriety, and on her way to a healthy better life when she witnesses a man violently stabbing away with a knife behind a bush. She is confronted by the mentally unstable man with the knife and the rest changes her life forever.

Jazz Virk’s Haunted Addict was written 72 hours after the ordeal. The Police and Forensic scenes and their dialog are verbatim!

Being a good Samaritan can be deadly.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

Jazz Virk’s Haunted Addict film is his first autobiographical film dealing with the horrors of mental health and addictions.
