SYNOPSIS
After Prayer follows 10-year-old Ahmad, who sits bored in the backseat of his car after finishing prayer at the mosque. When he notices a girl sitting alone in the car next to him, he becomes determined to get her attention – without alerting his strict mother, who is reading the Qur’an in the front. As Ahmad fumbles through his quiet attempts, the two form a brief but meaningful connection, navigating childhood curiosity within the quiet presence of cultural and religious expectations.
