SYNOPSIS
Queen of Heart is the story of TIA SANYAL (late 30s), who’s stuck in a dead marriage and is banished to the basement, by her game-addicted, man-child husband, RISHI SANYAL (40s), who is also unemployed. She works at the family-owned liquor store but has no claims to the income. She is a prisoner in the Sanyal household, due to her temporary visa status. Beneath the layers of Tia’s thick make-up lie deep secrets that are tucked away inside the walls of the Sanyal house. Finally, her bohemian, yoga-buddy, and ad-filmmaker, AURORA (40s), comes up with a bold and quirky way to help Tia reclaim her agency. Tia decides to get back on her own terms and turn Sanyalism on its head.
