SYNOPSIS

A birthday ceremony preparation gets upside down as something horrible takes place.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

This formalistic piece portrays how things can get upside down in a few minutes. The metaphorical technique to build up this story is using the continuous tilt of 360 degrees so that the result of the starting is completely different from the ending. As a filmmaker, I’m really into stories about wars because I think war issues are universal and most people can understand its bitterness. Also, this is a film without any dialogue which makes the audience understand the film by the actions and the visions not just depending on the specific local area. Also, this film is the first film of a trilogy about war stories with a formalistic approach and I’m working on the 2nd piece right now.
