SYNOPSIS
To fulfill his grandmother’s last wish, Farhan makes a new funeral bier (gahvara) to take her body to the burial ground. But the events that happen thereafter change Farhan’s life and perspective forever.
DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
I wanted to tell a story which belongs to my roots. Since I was born and brought up in the same Indian Muslim culture/ milieu. So, being a director, it was relatively easy for me to tell the story in a more realistic, authentic and honest way. We as a team, including actors and technicians, have tried our best to make this short film as realistic as we could. Hope viewers will like it. Thank You.
