SYNOPSIS
The film unfolds in a quiet hill town in Uttarakhand, India. Gaurav, a former police officer marked by a violent past, returns home after a forced resignation, carrying wounded pride and unresolved rage. His wife, Garima, once bound to him by love and hope, now finds herself silenced within a rigid marriage that denies her a voice. Between them stands their teenage daughter, Tanvi, uncertain of her own future, yet pulled into a growing conflict neither she understands nor can escape.
Gaurav is determined to shape Tanvi into his own image, pushing her towards a life in the police force as he seeks redemption through her. Garima, haunted by the violence she has witnessed in him, resists fiercely, desperate to protect her daughter from becoming a reflection of that same violence. Yet, in doing so, she begins to push Tanvi toward a path shaped by her own unfulfilled dreams. What begins as a disagreement deepens into a struggle of control and identity.
As tensions rise, Garima takes a devastating step. She plants doubt in Gaurav’s mind about his own fatherhood. The fragile balance of trust collapses. Consumed by suspicion and isolation, Gaurav begins to unravel, his reality slipping through his grasp. In a final act of desperation, Garima orchestrates a situation that pushes him toward breakdown, leading to his confinement.
But in gaining control, she loses something irreparable. A confession comes too late, and silence settles where love once lived. At its core, the film is an intimate human drama of two individuals shaped by the same system, locked in a battle and the cost of winning is devastating.
